Tomorrow we will have a visitor in our class! She is a teacher from Holland. We are going to learn about what things are like in her country.
We had a lovely day...
We did our jobs and work...then we spent time doing a fun aquarium craft! We made fish tanks and decorated the fish inside! We are going to hang them up for al Today we took time to remember the soldiers, and all they did for us. In the afternoon, we worked hard in the kitchen to make food for helping hands. We made Chili, Soup, Rice Crispie squares, cookies, and bagels!
Today we had a big TEST! We had to show off all of our skills at swimming. Some of us had to swim the length of the pool, while others showed their floats and bobs. We are all getting so comfortable in the water now! 3 of us have learned to jump into the deep end and do cannon balls!!

We listed all the words we thought of, and made a chart of things that soldiers can do, things they have, and things that represent them. We used our words to create a bulletin board in the hall. One of CCI's math teachers, Miss Martin, went to serve in the military a few years ago. We are so very proud of her!
This morning we all were a bit hungry at morning circle...so we decided to heat up the leftover pancakes from Friday!! What a treat for a Monday!
Then...this afternoon, we went to run an errand at Giant Tiger, and then we popped over to the public library to look around. We had a great time exploring the children's department. We had a puppet show an Today we celebrated Jacob's birthday! We had an exciting day with pancake party in the morning, and Birthday cake in the afternoon!
We have full bellies now! This afternoon we spent a lot of time doing Halloween stories on the Smartboard. We had lots of fun. There was a scary one called "ghost house" that we all liked.
